Rebirth : This is the story of a city state here and now. Feeling uncertain and insecure about the future of the State, the residents uprooted their home in the beloved city and emigrate to different parts of the world. They scatter around with hardly any hope of return. But 2.5 million people soon reconnect and foster a convicted mission - building a new city on line.

1 Precarious
The clean, vibrant lines/posts which symbolized the high rise buildings of the city, are collapsing. The ground where they stand is rippling and shaking. Cutting against the dark backdrop, the lines evoke a sense of precarious stability. It reflect moments of uncertainty in their own lives.

2 Afloat
In this piece, the rhythmic striped posts are floating in the vibrant blue stretches of an endless sea. They float freely, sometimes separated, but all towards one direction to get out of the harbor. This artwork creates an energy of grounding, uplifting and moving.

3 Scatter
In this piece, I poured my energy into capturing the bouncing stripes that are jumping out of a narrow opening to the wide, wide world beyond. The floating lines cut through the calm backdrop reveals the dynamic pulse beneath stillness. The vivid contrasting colors intensifies pulse of the artwork.

4 Reconnect
In this piece, I create a reconnection of posts forming a pyramid of network above the landscape of the city which they had abandoned. The pyramid forms a harmonized structure above a serene landscape. The oil paints bring depth to the blues and greens, inviting viewers to feel tranquility and reconciliation.
